As a Learning and Development Specialist, I support the execution of the organisations strategy by aligning the training and development of our people with our business priorities. I did not follow a traditional route into HR practice, however, learning to think on my feet, a passion for connecting people and the application of some well-honed analytical skills, eventually bought me to a hugely rewarding role in Learning and Talent Development.
I love the work I do with our people. The range of skills, experiences and expertise that they bring and want to develop across the business, ensures the Learning and Development activity is challenging and diverse, in terms of its delivery, content and accessibility.
It may sound like a cliché, but every day is a learning day here at Midwich. It’s rewarding to be part of that journey; whether it’s facilitating a structured formal program, enabling work place learning through experiences or socially, through personal learning networks.
