This two day course covers background theory and practical skills needed to specify, install and configure Exterity IP Video systems.  

The course begins with an introduction to the Exterity product range and an overview of the technologies behind IP Video, and also focuses on the resources available to help specify an Exterity system.

With that background information in place, the majority of the course is then dedicated to hands-on tutorials in setting up and configuring solutions based on Exterity products.  This certification is recognised by InfoComm international and completion achieves CTS program renewal units.

This 5-day course for lead installers, programmers and support personnel teaches the basic techniques for programming AMX control systems.

In this course, you will learn how to program all the devices in a basic, single-room NetLinx control system, including Enova switchers, IR devices such as Blu-ray players, relay and I/O devices such as screens and lifts, and serial devices such as displays. The course also includes a day of basic touch panel design.

Description
This 5-day course for advanced programmers and support personnel focuses on the intermediate techniques for programming AMX control systems. A person completing this course will be able to program a NetLinx system. If you have attended AMX Programming I, this class is for you.

In this course, you will learn how to program an intermediate to advanced NetLinx control system using hands on, real world examples. You will learn ways to improve your code and make it more efficient. Topics include writing modules, using custom variables (structures) and sequenced events (timelines), and programming advanced master-to-master control and switching systems. You will also learn to handle gestures, multi-preview windows, and near-field communication on a Modero X touch panel.

Prerequisite:
- Programming 1 (Instructor-led course)

At the end of this 4-day course and completion of the associated exams, you will be AMX Programming Certified (ACE-P).

It is highly recommended that all students have a NetLinx Master available to complete the Programming Practical Exam after attending class.
