Before joining Midwich, I had in-depth experience in a variety of different sales roles, which gave me an excellent understanding in delivering great customer service and developing staff skills. My first role at Midwich was pro-actively selling key branded laptops, after 12 months of successful sales I joined the Midwich Business Development Team and was fast tracked for promotion to team leader within 6 months.
Over the coming years I have experienced successive promotions and new opportunities, from working as a New Business executive focusing on specific markets such as HCI Scheme and Office Equipment Channel, to developing the New Business team in isolation of the main sales floor, growing the team within three years from 4 to 16 sales staff. I then was given the additional role as manager of our Reactive Fast Response team and Security.
In January 2013 I relinquished management of these teams to focus on the Group Training Manager role before taking on the management of our VRT (Specialist Sales Team). In 2014, after a successful 12 months in that role, I was then promoted to become General Sales Manager.
In my time at Midwich I have contributed to a number of new business initiatives. These include developing the company induction programme, various staff training programmes, coaching and mentoring. My main area of interest is the development of people and as a qualified NLP practitioner and trained in hypnotherapy, I continue to develop personal skills that help get the very best out of people.
