Recap of Technology Exposed 2018 and what you can expect from our 2019 event

Each year Technology Xposed brings together like-minded people to network, get up close and personal with brands, and discover the latest technologies. It is a wonder how this year could expand further, after Technology Exposed 2018 already delivered so much.

Over 750 customers gathered together over the two days, taking advantage of the endless opportunities at hand. 50 vendors were on hand to showcase their newest technologies and the latest product releases. We not only saw an increase in the number of vendors attending the exhibition, but also a whopping 170% increase in end-user attendance. Increasingly, customers are using the event as their own, inviting along end-users to get up close and personal with products, people and technologies.

The Midwich Group Presence

The Midwich Group hospitality stand was back by popular demand, offering the perfect place to put your feet up and relax. More importantly, the stand provided a place to network with like-minded technology and digital experts... As well as catch up on an email or two!

Customers also had the opportunity to meet more of the Midwich Group Plc; sister companies, Sound Technology, PSCo and Holdan all had teams on-hand at the event to share their insight and expertise. 

Technology Xposed 2019 has promised an even larger Midwich presence, demonstrating the added value we have on offer for our customers. With dedicated teams on hand, demonstrating the amazing new Mi Support service, Leasing and Credit services.

Connected the World

Knowledge is power and Technology Exposed 2018 brought this to life with wireless sharing. Collaboration within the workplace has evolved over the years; there is no longer a need to pass around USB sticks or print duplicate copies to then hand out. Wireless sharing has made collaborating at work easier and far more efficient. Many customers attending Technology Exposed 2018 took advantage of learning more, some even, bringing along their own devices to experience real demos of the latest collaboration solutions.

Continuing with connectivity, Technology Xposed 2019 will connect attendees with future trends. Panel debates will cover a wide breadth of industry topics.

Made an Impact

Sister company PSCo demonstrated the immersive power of LED and how adaptable this technology is. Technology Exposed 2018 kept customers up to date with how LED can be used in a multitude of vertical markets, with popular setups including the LED curve wall and outdoor LED shown live at the event.

PSCo are set to return this year to Technology Xposed and after moving into their new state of the art facilities, Innovation House; we are expecting big things from them!

Made Learning Easier

Midwich’s colleagues at Holdan introduced technology into the classroom, to not only make teaching easier but learning too! Customers got up close and personal with readily available recording and media studio equipment, aimed at showcasing the advantages such technology can bring to learning in higher education markets. Introducing more technology into the classroom is a small step for teaching, but they will lead to a giant leap in learning.

Virtual Reality is booming in popularity, 500 million VR headsets are expected to be sold by 2025. (source) This technology is easily adaptable and can be adopted by the reseller business. Working with Immersive VR, Technology Exposed 2018 showcased a series of virtual reality opportunities, including virtual learning. Arguably the most immersive and engaging ways to get students involved virtually.

What’s in store for 2019?

Technology Xposed 2019 marks the 10^th anniversary of this well-established industry event and we are expecting this year to be the biggest and the best! With more stands, vendors, customers and above all more tech, there have never been more opportunities to fully immerse yourself in the digital world.

After an increase last year in our customers using Technology Xposed as their own event, we expect this to remain on the rise. For even more of you to bring along your customers, to witness the wonderful Technology Xposed 2019.
