The 'Tour de AV' is back!

The Tour de AV is back! In association with AV Magazine and Pedal Revolution, a team of 21 keen cyclists from the AV industry will complete a gruelling 135-mile (217km) cycle challenge from Midwich Group HQ (Norfolk) to Royal Ascot Racecourse, across two days on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th September - The riders will cross the finish line on day one of Midwich’s showcase event, Tech Xpo 23.

The aim of the event is to raise funds for various chosen ‘Gift of AV’ charities, with each rider pledging to fundraise a minimum of £300. The event is hoping to fundraise more than the £25,000 achieved from last year’s Tour de AV 22 event.

217km Course

On day one, the riders will complete 79 miles setting off from Midwich Group HQ in Diss (Norfolk) at 9am. The route will take them cross-country, via Cambridge, eventually arriving at Sound Technology's HQ in Letchworth (Hertfordshire).

On day two, the riders will weave their way past some notable landmarks such as Windsor Castle before arriving at the finishing line at the Royal Ascot Racecourse having completed 56miles on day two.   

Having completed 135 miles (217km) The riders will arrive at Royal Ascot on day one of the Midwich showcase event, Tech Xpo 2023.

The Gift of AV

In 2022, the 'Gift of AV' fund was created as the face of Midwich's charitable donations. A year on, it represents 15 national and local charities across UK & Ireland raising more than £90k since inception.

Over the past 10 years, Midwich has donated more than £310,000 to various chosen charities.

As well as donating much needed funds, Midwich provides selected charitable organisations or community groups with donations of products and technologies.
