Samsung will unveil the UK’s first trade show exclusive demonstrations of its new 115” QHFX QLED Supersize Display and 13” E-Paper EMDX Display at Midwich’s flagship event, Tech Xpo, taking place 22–23 October 2025 at Ascot Racecourse.
Hosted by Midwich UK&I, Tech Xpo is the award-winning technology showcase for the AV industry, bringing together the latest innovations from world-leading brands and offering hands-on experiences for channel partners, resellers, and end users.
As headline sponsor, Samsung is presenting two of its newest display solutions designed to transform both large-scale digital signage and sustainable retail environments.
With demand growing for ultra-large format displays, Samsung’s 115” QHFX pushes the boundaries of digital signage with 4K QLED clarity, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and 700-nit brightness – marking the largest-ever LCD screen in Samsung’s signage range.
Replacing traditional multi-screen video walls with a single seamless display, the QHFX offers multi-view functionality for up to four external inputs, delivering versatile and impactful content experiences for retail, corporate, and control room environments.
Steve Robertson, head of signage at Samsung Electronics, commented:
“We’re proud to present the UK’s first trade show demonstrations of our new 115” QHFX and 13” E-Paper displays at Midwich’s Tech Xpo. These products embody Samsung’s drive to redefine visual excellence – from the ultra-large QHFX, which creates premium atmospheres in flagship retail spaces, to the sustainable and flexible E-Paper range designed to digitise the traditional paper experience. Tech Xpo provides the perfect stage to showcase these innovations to the UK market.”
Also, on display at the event, the Samsung E-Paper EMDX introduces an eco-friendly, battery-powered solution for retail and advertising applications. Its ultra-slim, lightweight design and cable-free setup enable flexible installation anywhere, with a battery life of up to 220 days on a single charge.
The E-Paper mobile app allows users to create, edit, and schedule content directly from their smartphones, while Samsung’s VXT solution offers real-time remote monitoring and centralised device management. Available in 13”, 25”, 32”, with further sizes coming in 2026, E-Paper provides an energy-efficient, low-maintenance alternative to traditional printed signage.
Ross Floyd, commercial director at Midwich UK&I, added:
“We’re incredibly proud that Samsung has chosen Tech Xpo as the platform to introduce these innovative products to the UK market. As headline sponsor, their decision to use our event to showcase their new products speaks volumes about the strength of our long-standing partnership. Over many years of collaboration, we’ve worked closely with the Samsung team to bring world-class display technology to our customers, and this year’s Tech Xpo perfectly highlights that shared commitment to innovation and excellence.”
