Coming from a direct sales background, I joined the SME team at Midwich in 2004, soon establishing myself as a very successful sales person who could quickly build relationships with both customers and colleagues whilst generating profitable sales for the business.
After 3 years in this position I moved into a business development role for Auto ID, where I was instrumental in driving sales of Auto ID products into our current customer base and Specialist VARs. During this period I had the opportunity to move through the ranks and join our Majors Team, where my role was to look after some of our most prestigious corporate accounts. Delivering on sales targets and developing key relationships within this customer base I grew my commercial knowledge and experience. I later had the opportunity to set up and lead our Export team consisting of six foreign speaking account managers who increased our Export sales over 20+ EU countries, initially promoting Projection Lamps under the Whichlamps umbrella and later establishing niche hardware opportunities to cement our reach into Europe. I continued my Management career in 2009 where I headed up our Internal AV Specialist team, a role which consisted of building and managing an industry leading team of 22 vendor specialists to support our internal sales teams and deliver world class leading expertise to the reseller channel.
I now manage one of our key account teams, internally looking after a broad spectrum of accounts, delivery of sales targets and securing divisional sales growth.
