Mark Lowe, Midwich Managing Director for UK and Ireland, comments:

“The global pandemic continues to have a significant impact on the mental health and wellbeing of so many people. Norfolk and Waveney Mind are there for those that need some support, & ultimately this saves lives. Their services are in huge demand so it is vitally important that we continue raising funds to ensure that this support can continue.

We are aiming to raise a further £15k for the charity with our new festive raffle, on top of the £32k we have already raised. A big thank you to our vendor partners and staff for donating so many amazing prizes towards the raffle.”

Rachel Walsh, Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Lead from Norfolk and Waveney Mind comments:

This is a mental health crisis and affects us all. Since the start of the COVID pandemic, we have experienced substantial growth in demand for our support.  At the same time, we have suffered a reduction in income across many funding sources.

We couldn’t continue to do what we do without the support from organisations like Midwich and we can’t thank them enough for helping us to continue to provide local support, to local people, when they need us most.”

The mental health charity, Norfolk and Waveney Mind, offers an extensive range of mental health services, along with associated training, advice and information. The services include 1:1 talking therapies, gardening projects, access to employment services, mental health training and education for businesses, schools and individuals, residential care and support programmes.

Midwich would like to thank their vendor partners, Canon, Samsung, Sennheiser, LG, Sony, Jabra, Epson, Promethean, Sharp, Shure, Sound Technology, Brother, iiyama, Sonos, AVer, and Signage Live for donating prizes.
