This Easter, our supported charity, Nelson's Journey held their annual Easter Egg Hunt with over 1200 chocolate eggs being donated by local companies in support for the charity which supports bereaved children in Norfolk.
Midwich employees donated over 400 Easter eggs toward the event that attracted a record breaking 900 people to the hunt, meaning there was plenty of chocolate to go around!
Sophie Berry, Funding & Marketing Manager at Nelsons Journey commented:
“The Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success with a record number of people attending, nearly 900! It was great to see young children feeding the lambs and others running around the Octagon Business Park seeking stamps for their clue sheet! We are incredibly grateful to Midwich for providing 400 Easter eggs which were very well received by all children and young people who attended. The donation of easter eggs contributed to a hugely successful event which raised over £3,000. Funds raised will support our direct work with Norfolk’s bereaved children and young people.”
