Stephen Fenby, Managing Director at Midwich Ltd said: “The charity provides fantastic help and advice to patients and their families across the region. This is our first year supporting Big C, and the response to fundraising has been fantastic.”

Nikki Morris, Deputy CEO and Director of Operations at Big C said: “Being a local Norfolk charity, working with a local Norfolk business, will create some great opportunities for our charity, aiding us to further support those who need it in the Norfolk area. Midwich are now part of the overall Big C community, which I’m sure will bring some exciting avenues throughout our time together in 2015.”

“It only takes a donation of £5 for someone affected by cancer to attend a bereavement session, and only £10 for a cancer discussion kit – a small amount in comparison to the help and hope it will bring to all those suffering with cancer,” Nikki continued.

Other activities included an Easter egg hamper auction plus individual donations from staff, all contributing to the total. The amount is a welcome start to Midwich’s chosen charity of 2015, with a £20,000 target hoped to be raised from a variety of events throughout the year.
