Technology Showcase North closed its doors at Leeds Royal Armouries yesterday, celebrating a successful third year as the north of Englands top showcase of the latest audio, print, video conferencing, broadcast and networking solutions.
Hosted by Midwich, the UKs leading trade-only distributor of technology solutions, Technology Showcase North attracted installers, integrators and their end users who engaged with brands demonstrating the latest technologies and discuss market opportunities.
Highlights included live workshop sessions delivered by Midwich experts covering 4K, signal distribution, laser projection and collaborative meeting spaces. Attendees of the workshops heard from Jenny Hicks, technology manager at Midwich, discussing Signal Distribution HDBaseT vs IP and Jon Dew-Stanley, Solutions Director, hosted a Collaborative meeting spaces workshop demonstrating how technologies converge. A new era for laser projection with Sony and Panasonic product demos was held by Director Stuart Mizon and Divisional Manager Lee Harris hosted 4K: a stepping stone to 8K a discussion of the current and future display market trends.
