As a reliable, creative professional and pro-active team player, many times I have had responsible roles in teams with individual tasks to manage and drive forward; areas in which I have had great successes in and outside of the work place. I joined Midwich in 2004 after leaving Centre Parcs, where I was the Assistant Manager of the Watersports Department and B2B coordinator. I started out in the New Business team and gained promotion during 2007 to Team Leader of Business Development taking the top 20% of Midwich accounts. My next step was to engage and talk to different people in order to find the appropriate directions which were available in any aspect of our growing workload and incoming opportunities.
In 2010 a growing opportunity to break away and set up a new sales team called the Office Automation team came to light, with a growing area in managed print solutions working closely with all of the UK’s MPS dealers. At director level we could all see a need for understanding this market, and by working closer with key vendors we could support this market through distribution. In 2013 an external opportunity presented itself with Ricoh UK and I left the Midwich Group to develop myself and gain more corporate and business experience. In late 2014 the Midwich Group had gone through many changes and an opportunity had arisen for a new Product Manager for Projection. With the backing of Stuart Mizon Divisional Director and Ross Floyd Divisional Manager I returned to Midwich. As of mid-2016, I am now Senior Product Manager for Samsung LFD.
I was responsible for building strong relationships with key AV vendors in order to grow market share, and to work with account managers across the Midwich Group to offer the best customer experience when buying projection, specifying a project or finding the right product for a solution sale. As well as promoting and marketing growing areas of the projection portfolio, today I manager some of our key projection vendors which include Epson, NEC, Hitachi and BenQ, as well as our visualiser product set with Lumens and Elmo.
