PENTAX celebrates launch of the K-30 DSLR camera with celebrity-led national photography competition.

To celebrate the launch of the new PENTAX K-30 DSLR camera, PENTAX has launched Meet Britain, a nationwide competition asking members of the public to submit photographs of the things they feel make Britain great.

The overall winner will take home £1,000, so why not get your customers involved?

Spearheading the competition are singer and actress Sarah Harding and DJ and TV presenter Reggie Yates who will each create a series of images, providing a unique insight into the people and places that make Britain special to them. All they need to do is follow the instructions below to submit an image which fits into one of the following categories:

•    Celebrations
•    Summer Holidays
•    Friends and Family
•    Great British Culture
•    Great British Outdoors

The best images will then be shortlisted and feature in a Central London exhibition which will be open to the public in September. Shortlisted photographers will be invited to the exclusive opening of the exhibition where they will have the chance to meet Sarah Harding and Reggie Yates, whose images will also be on display.

Following the public exhibition, one winner from each category will be selected and they will each win a K-30 camera. In addition, the overall winner will take home the £1,000 prize fund.

The competition runs until 3rd September 2012, so customers can submit their pictures now via the Meet Britain app on the PENTAX UK Facebook Page, www.facebook.com/pentaxuk.
