Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II wins best printer
The Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II has been awarded Best Printer at the Amateur Photographer 2010 Awards.
They state, "Thanks to its eight dye-based ChromaLife 100 inks, 48-bit printing and the FINE print head delivering a minimum volume of 2pl at a resolution of 4800x2400dpi, the Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II produces superb colour prints. Canon DSLR users will also appreciate the ability to print their RAW files directly from within the Digital Photo Pro software that is supplied with their camera. In addition, a plug-in ensures that Canon raw files can be printed from within Adobe Photoshop, so there’s no need to convert the files to more universal formats that take up valuable hard drive space.
Print sizes range from 10x15cm up to A3+ borderless. With printing times of a little over three minutes for an A3 print, the PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II is a great choice of printer for enthusiasts."
